Michelle Colman, PT, DPT, OCS is our Clinic Director at the Miramar location. Dr. Colman has been practicing physical therapy for 12 years in the outpatient orthopedics setting, with the last 7 years in the San Diego area. She graduated from the University of Colorado with her Masters of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy. She earned her Orthopedic Certified Specialist designation from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2013.
Dr. Colman has a passion for working with patients with lower extremity injuries and has enjoyed working with athletes from all sports and levels of competition, as well as performing artists such as musicians and dancers.
In her spare time, she enjoys training for marathons, alpine skiing, exploring the great outdoors, and the occasional Netflix binge.
Jodi Moore is a Certified Hand Therapist with 20 years experience treating upper extremity injuries. She received her graduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and her clinical doctorate degree from Rocky Mountain of Health Professions in Provo, UT. Prior to moving to San Diego, she worked at some of the country’s top hospitals including Johns Hopkins, Rehab Institute of Chicago and Duke University. While at Duke, she was the primary therapist for Duke and North Carolina’s first hand transplant patient. Over the years, she has treated complex, traumatic and repetitive injuries. Jodi is proficient in orthotic fabrication from dynamic to static for multiple hand, wrist, forearm and elbow conditions. She has a published article in the Journal of Hand Therapy and has developed a mentoring program , the Upper Extremity Institute. This program is currently being implemented throughout the country by the American Society of Hand Therapists. She believes in providing patients the most current treatment techniques. Her latest educational endeavor is receiving specialized certification in treating the stiff hand.
When not treating patients, Jodi enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, and bicycling with her husband and driving their Jeep along the coast or trail riding through the desert.
Josh Klem, PT, DPT, CSCS received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and worked as a personal trainer and PT aide prior to physical therapy school in Encinitas, CA.
Josh enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds - kids, athletes, adults and everyone in between - incorporating manual therapy and functional exercises/movements to help patients reach their specific goals. He is passionate about public health and advocacy on behalf on the profession of physical therapy. He is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and CPTA (California Physical Therapy Association).
For fun he enjoys traveling to new places as well as being active - hiking and playing sports - especially football, basketball and baseball. He strives to use his knowledge and energy to improve the lives of all patients.
