Pete earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2005 from California State University San Marcos while playing on the school’s club soccer team. After graduation he became a nationally certified personal trainer, becoming a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
After graduating in 2014 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science he began working in outpatient physical therapy. Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization using the Graston Technique is one method Pete uses to treat his patients.
In 2016 Pete took on the Director position at the Vista location of All Star Physical Therapy, and in his free time enjoys resistance training at the gym, hiking and cycling outdoors.
Maria received her Bachelor and Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. She has been active in north county outpatient Physical Therapy for 35 years. She is board certified in orthopedics and specializes in manual therapy,joint mobilization,gait and functional movement analysis for all age groups.She is fluent in Spanish.
Maria enjoys treating and implementing programs for chronic and acute injuries. She has specialized training in evaluation and treatment in spine, hip, knee, shoulder, ankle and foot.She also is also enthusiastic about treating patients with balance problems and those in need of vestibular rehabilitation. She works with her patients and helps them return to their sport and to a lifestyle they enjoy.She also likes mentoring Physical Therapy students from various universities.
Maria prides herself in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Her interest includes playing at the beach, hiking and spending time with her family.
Chelsea earned her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach, while minoring in music and playing violin in the school's symphony orchestra. She then gained experience working in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy setting before going on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science. She has taken continuing education courses in manual therapy and plans to complete her Manual Therapy Certification. She is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and the CPTA (California Physical Therapy Association). In her free time she enjoys dancing, reading, hiking and playing her violin.
Dana received a Bachelors of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in 1993. She then worked in Hand Therapy/Upper Extremity Rehabilitation for more than 10 years in the Orange County area. She has experience as Lead Therapist and Clinical Director opening 2 Hand Clinics. Her favorite position has always been patient care. Dana is currently working towards Hand Therapy Certification. When not at work at Vista All Star Physical Therapy Dana also enjoys working as an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist. she treats children 0-2 years in feeding and fine motor skills to reach their milestones. Dana enjoys morning beach walks with friends, spending time with her two teenagers and barbecuing with her husband Andy.
Teri graduated fron San Diego State Univeristy in 1995. She then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan Univeristy. Teri has been a practicing therapist since 1999. She has worked in a variety of seettings, including skilled nursing, impatient and hand rehabilitation. Terri's main focus of practice is Hand Therapy. She has achieved advanced certificaction as a CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) in 2005. Teri lives in Carlsbad with her husband and three children. They enjoy living near the beach and have an active Southern California lifestyle
Josh Klem, PT, DPT, CSCS received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and worked as a personal trainer and PT aide prior to physical therapy school in Encinitas, CA.
Josh enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds - kids, athletes, adults and everyone in between - incorporating manual therapy and functional exercises/movements to help patients reach their specific goals. He is passionate about public health and advocacy on behalf on the profession of physical therapy. He is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) and CPTA (California Physical Therapy Association).
For fun he enjoys traveling to new places as well as being active - hiking and playing sports - especially football, basketball and baseball. He strives to use his knowledge and energy to improve the lives of all patients.
