Malerie is a physical therapist that grew up locally in Murrieta. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at the California state University of Fullerton and then graduated with honors receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. She has continued her education in techniques of orthopedic manual therapy, sports specific and vestibular rehabilitation, emergency medical responder and emergency responder for the athlete certifications. After completing a round at the San Diego Naval Medical Center she enjoyed working with the wounded warriors in surf camp, agility clinic and as a part of the medical team volunteer during the Wounded Games. She is proud to be found on the athletic fields and courts of Murrieta Mesa High School for the sideline medical team.
Paul has been a proud resident of the Murrieta Valley since 1982, attending grade school at Murrieta Elementary School and graduating from Temecula Valley High School. Paul received his Degree in Occupational therapy from Keuka College in New York. He then underwent further extensive training and education to become Hand Therapist Certified. Since 1999, Paul has provided Occupational and Hand Therapy services to the communities of Murrieta and Temecula. He continues to work and live with his family in Murrieta. In February 2008, Paul became the founder and CEO of All Star Physical Therapy with the goal of providing simply the best Physical Therapy and Hand Rehabilitation services. Since the company’s inception, Paul has cultivated the best Team of Physical Therapists in the Valley to provide All Star care!
Dr. Drew Blanchard was born and raised in the Los Angeles County where he played football, swam, and was a member of the surf team. After graduating high school Dr. Blanchard enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent nearly a decade serving his country as apart of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. During his time in the Navy he received his Bachelorette degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne, where he received Departmental Honors. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Southern California followed by an orthopaedic residency through Northwestern University and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Blanchard has had extensive clinical experience treating patients with orthopaedic, neurologic, and men’s health conditions as well as treating high level high school, college, and professionals using a biomechanical approach in order to reduce pain, decrease risk for injury, or re-injury and improve performance. He is passionate about utilizing and promoting optimal movement in order to return people to their highest level of function as well as utilizing mindfulness and motor learning to ensure long term change.
Dr. Blanchard is a certified Parkinson’s Wellness and Recovery (PWR) therapist, and he is an active member in the Orthopedic, Sports, and Federal sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
In his spare time Dr. Blanchard enjoys playing beach volleyball, surfing, working out, traveling internationally, practicing landscape photography, and spending time with friends and family.
Kris Mankin, PT is a native Southern Califonian, born in our neighboring town, Hemet. She studied at San Diego State to earn her BS in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences and then entered her Masters at Chapman University in Orange County. She has been licensed as a Physical Therapist since 2002. She has spent most of her career treating patients in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley for a variety of conditions including: orthopedic, sports, work related injuries, post surgical care and rehabilitation, car accidents, balance difficulties and dizziness. She gained a strong interest in treating the dizzy patient in 2004 and has since worked with hundreds of patients with vertigo, dizziness and other vestibular disorders. Along with this specialty area, Kris has a strong understanding of fall prevention and assists patients in their recovery of balance. She has spent many hours studying these conditions and successful rehabilitation techniques. Outside of work, Kris is married with two young children and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible. They do family outings to the desert in the winter time for a off-roading, and enjoy the water at the river in the summer time. Kris has a strong sports background and up bringing and is well versed in all kinds of sports and activities including: baseball/softball, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, swimming, cycling and even Mx. She is also an avid cyclist, so you may see her out on the road hitting the pavement, putting her miles in.
Christian is a physical therapist who grew up in San Diego. Christian received a bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of Puget Sound where he played NCAA baseball, then graduated with honors from the University of St. Augustine of Health Sciences with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since graduating Christian has continued to advance his education in manual therapy techniques tailored to competitive and weekend athletes who would like to return to sport including a certification by Titleist to treat golfers and golf related injuries. Christian is committed to developing a personalized plan of care for each patient based off their specific needs and goals and enjoys returning patient’s to their desired function.
Joshua received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine- San Marcos April 2014 which utilizes a diverse set of manual therapy skills. Prior to graduate school he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Cal State Long Beach in Spring 2011. Joshua has taken advanced coursework from the Institute of Physical Art where he enhanced his knowledge in highly advanced sacroiliac dysfunction screenings and treatment techniques based upon movement analysis. His goal for treating patients is to make them aware of their functional deficits and make them independent again. Joshua utilizes muscle specific treatments to alleviate many common dysfunctions ranging from back pain to shoulder injuries. As a Graston Technique provider, he can also incorporate the use of specialized stainless steel instruments to promote tissue healing and remodeling.
In 2017, Joshua became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) making his care the most recent as well as evidenced based. Through patient education and correct neuromuscular engagement, Joshua believes all his patients can become self-aware of their movement inhibitions to ultimately make pain free lifelong changes. Joshua is a proud husband and father of two young boys and two daughters. He maintains an active lifestyle with his family engaging in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments, soccer, competitive hip hop and scouting events.
Sidney is a Temecula native who stayed local to complete her Bachelor's of Science in child and family development from San Diego State University. Sidney traveled across the country to accomplish her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England. During her schooling, she completed a rotation at All Star Physical Therapy where she expanded her knowledge and love for specialized hand therapy. Sidney was a practicing Occupational Therapist in Portland, Maine until she finally made the move back to California to continue her career at All Star Physical Therapy. Currently, she is seeking her Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) Certification. In her spare time, Sidney enjoys spending time with her family and pup, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
