Following six years of service in the United States Marine Corps, Scott Horn attended, and graduated from, California State University, San Marcos Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at CSU San Marcos he conducted research and was published in the International Journal of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Science in 2019 with highest academic honors.
Scott holds a certification in Applied Functional Science and has a passion for helping athletes and aging adults maximal their functional capacity. He believes in individualized active exercise based treatments that identify and correct movement dysfunctions. He is actively pursuing his board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also maintains professional membership with the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedics Manual Physical Therapy.
While not treating patients Scott enjoys spending time with his two sons, playing basketball, rock climbing, and staying active as his moto is “Let’s be as active as possible for as long as possible”.
Allen was born and raised in Washington state where he attended the University of Washington and majored in Biology and minored in Nutritional Sciences. From there, he attended the University of St. Augustine where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Allen is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a Certified USA Weightlifting coach with a special interest in combining the worlds of strength training, conditioning, and nutrition with physical therapy. As a physical therapist he is responsible for returning patients back to their "prior level of function", but he also wants to provide his patients with the skills to achieve a higher level of function than their "prior".
Outside of treating patients, Allen enjoys weightlifting, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with his partner, Brian and little dog named Luna.
Edward received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science at the California State University, San Bernardino in 2016. He received his Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Loma Linda University in 2021. Edward is hardworking and strives every day to seek opportunities to enhance his skills and knowledge for the betterment of his patient's health.
Edward's professional goal is to become a Certified Hand Therapist and is currently fully committed to the growth of the hand/occupational therapy program at the All-Star clinics.
His hobbies include snowboarding, playing soccer, working out, spending time with family, and caring for his dog. Edward looks forward to helping you on your journey to returning to your meaningful occupations and improving your quality of life.
Candice graduated in 2005 from Loma Linda University’s Physical Therapy Assistant program. Throughout her career as a PTA she has worked at more than 40 facilities, which ranged from acute, subcute, home therapy and outpatient care, allowing her to have a wide range of patient cases and build her experience in field as a therapist. She is thrilled to be working at her current location with All star PT and feels it’s the best fit for her as a fitness professional and therapist.
Being born on the opening day of the Los Angeles 1984 Olympics, it seems almost fitting that Candice would become some form of an athlete. In 2012 she successfully earned her IFBB Bikini Professional Card at Nationals in Atlanta. She won her second Pro show the following year qualifying her to compete in the prestigious Mr. Olypmia in 2013 and once again in 2014. She has not yet retired from the sport of bodybuilding. At this time she is more focused raising her two year old daughter with her husband Brandon. She is still very active in the sport of bodybuilding and is highly sought out posing coach for the bikini division.
Daisy was born and raised in Hemet, CA. She attended the University of California, Riverside where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. During her free time she would volunteer at Kaiser, in the PT department where she had the opportunity to work with a variety of physical therapists and learn about the impact that PT has on patient recovery, solidifying her decision to pursue this career. She then attended Loma Linda University, where she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021. During her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Dakota is a physical therapist assistant who received his Associate of Science from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA in 2021. Before attending Loma Linda, he completed his general education at Mount San Jacinto college and Riverside City college.
Growing up locally Dakota graduated from Hemet High in 2016. He believes that patient education is key for the best and most long lasting recovery. Dakota enjoys getting to know his patients, motivating them and personalizing care to their needs. In addition, when Dakota is not treating patients he enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as staying healthy by playing sports and lifting weights.
